This 1991 Ferrari Mondial T coupe is a European-market example that was imported to Canada in 2006 and recently imported to the US by the selling dealer. The car is finished in Rosso Corsa over tan leather, and power is provided by a quad-cam 3.4-liter F119 V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a front spoiler, integrated front fog lights, a gated shifter, an adjustable suspension, a Clarion CD stereo, air conditioning, and 16″ staggered-width wheels. Now showing 26k kilometres (~16k miles), this Mondial T is offered in New York with partial service records, a tool kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Ohio title.
The Mondial was designed by Leonardo Fioravanti of Pininfarina, and total production of T coupes was 858 units. This example is finished in Rosso Corsa, and equipment includes a front lower spoiler, integrated front fog lights, and side air intakes. Photos of the paintwork, trim, and glass are shown up close in the gallery below.
Factory 16″ staggered-width five-spoke wheels wear yellow “prancing horse” center caps as well as Kumho Ecsta Supra tires measuring 205/55 up front and 225/55 out back. Standard equipment included an adjustable suspension with two stiffness settings, along with power steering and anti-lock brakes.
The cabin features seats trimmed in tan Connolly leather upholstery with matching tan carpets and a black upper dashboard. Equipment includes a gated shifter, air conditioning, a Clarion stereo, and power windows and locks. Wear is noted on the driver’s seat bolster.
Instrumentation set behind the leather-wrapped steering wheel consists of a 280-km/h speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline, as well as gauges for fuel level, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows just over 26k kilometers (~16k miles).
The 3.4-liter F119 V8 features quad camshafts and Bosch Motronic digital engine management, and was rated from the factory at 300 horsepower with 238 lb-ft of torque. Records indicate the engine was removed in 2007 for resurfacing the cylinder heads and fitting replacement head gaskets, and the slow down ECU and battery were replaced in 2018.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underbody, suspension, and exhaust are viewable below.
A leather suitcase with Ferrari-branded tools and spare parts is included in the sale, along with partial service receipts.
The July 2020 Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration activity in Ontario and Quebec beginning in April 2006. Driving footage and walk-around videos are provided below.
