This 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is finished in blue with woodgrain paneling over a tan interior, and its carbureted 360ci V8 is paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Features include factory 15″ wheels, a roof rack, power-adjustable seats, air conditioning, and an aftermarket stereo. The truck reportedly spent time in Georgia and Virginia before it was recently acquired out of South Carolina by the Tennessee-based selling dealer. Recent service has reportedly included replacing some of the window regulators and motors, as well as the tires, ignition components, fuel pump, fuel filter, water pump, and thermostat. Now showing 167k miles, this Grand Wagoneer is offered in Tennessee with a Carfax report and a clean South Carolina title.
The truck was delivered new in Dark Baltic Blue (PQ9) and was reportedly refinished during previous ownership. The woodgrain trim is also said to have been replaced with reproduction panels at that time, and additional features include chrome-finished bumpers and trim, fog lights, and a roof rack. The Carfax report indicates an accident involving damage to the front of the truck in 1996, and the seller notes a crack in the paint below the fuel filler cap as well as a rust bubble on the hood. Close-up photos of the paintwork and exterior trim are shown in the photo gallery below.
Factory 15″ concave wheels wear Jeep center caps and were recently mounted with Nexen N’Priz AH5 white stripe tires per the seller.
The interior features individual front seats and a rear bench seat with tan leather upholstery, corduroy inserts, and high-pile backing. Amenities include power-adjustable front seats, power locks and windows, an Alpine stereo, and air conditioning. The seller notes corrosion on the edges of the dashboard, cracks in the dash pad, a split in the top of the rear seats, a sagging headliner, and an inoperable center dome light.
A two-spoke steering wheel with an aftermarket cover sits ahead of factory instrumentation that includes a 100-mph speedometer and a six-digit odometer that shows just under 167k miles, approximately 100 of which have been added by the seller.
The carbureted 360ci V8 sends power to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range Selec-Trac transfer case. Recent work is said to include an oil change and replacement of the water pump, thermostat, upper radiator hose, ignition components, fuel pump, and fuel filter.
The seller notes the presence of corrosion on the chassis as well as rust around the bottom of the doors. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
The July 2020 Carfax report indicates severe damage to the front end of the truck in 1996 and displays history in Georgia, Alabama, and Virginia from its first entry in January 1992 through its most recent update in May 2019.
