BaT Auction: 1982 Honda CB650SC Nighthawk at No Reserve

This 1982 Honda CB650SC Nighthawk is finished Cosmo Black Metallic with silver and red decals and is powered by a 626cc inline-four paired with a five-speed transmission. The bike was reportedly acquired by the selling dealer from the second owner in August 2020 and now shows 15k miles. Equipment includes dual-disc front brakes, chrome trim, seating for two, and a removable backrest and luggage rack. Service in preparation for the sale included the replacement of the tires and spark plugs, as well as an oil and filter change. This CB650SC is now offered at no reserve by the selling dealer with a service manual, a tool kit, and a clean Wisconsin title.

The motorcycle is finished Cosmo Black Metallic with silver and red decals. Equipment includes a chrome front fender, a two-up seat with a passenger grab strap, and an aftermarket removable backrest and luggage rack. The bike also features a two-piece handlebar that is height and width adjustable. The seat shows a repaired split in the center.

Comstar five-spoke wheels were reportedly fitted with new tires in preparation for the sale. Braking is from dual discs up front and a drum out back.

Instrumentation consists of an 85-mph speedometer and a 10k-rpm tachometer. The five-digit odometer shows 15k miles, a handful of which were added by the selling dealer.

The 626cc SOHC inline-four is paired with a five-speed transmission. Service in preparation for the sale is said to include the replacement of the spark plugs and an oil and filter change.
