This 2018 Ferrari 488 Spider was sold new by Algar Ferrari of Philadelphia in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and leased in 2019 by the seller, who has added approximately 1,700 of the 2,500 miles shown. Power is provided by a twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch F1 transaxle, and the car is finished in silver over blue leather with contrasting silver stitching. Factory equipment includes a power-retractable two-piece roof panel, automatic climate control, navigation, Goldrake racing seats, carbon ceramic brakes, and carbon fiber interior and exterior components. This 488 is now being offered with an owner’s manual, factory literature, two keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The exterior is finished in Grigio Titiano Metallic with Scuderia fender shields and features a matching power-retractable two-piece roof that is shown both open and closed in the gallery below. Optional equipment includes carbon fiber side splitters and rear air ducts.
The factory 20” staggered-width wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires sized 245/35 up front and 305/30 out back. Stopping power is provided by carbon ceramic rotors paired with yellow calipers wearing Ferrari and Brembo lettering, and a factory-optional front suspension lifter is installed.
The interior houses a pair of factory-optional carbon fiber Goldrake racing seats trimmed in dark blue leather with silver stitching and embroidered prancing horse logos on the headrests. Carbon fiber accessories were optioned for the driver and passenger zones, central bridge, and dashboard, and additional amenities consist of automatic climate control, parking sensors, branded floor mats, and more.
The carbon fiber-trimmed steering wheel features LED shift indicators, buttons for starting the engine and adjusting the suspension, and a Manettino dial to choose between various driving modes. Instrumentation includes a yellow tachometer with a variable redline flanked by a pair of configurable digital displays. The digital odometer shows just over 2,500 miles, approximately 1,700 of which have been added by the seller.
The mid-mounted twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter DOHC V8 was rated at 661 horsepower at 8k rpm and 561 lb-ft of torque at 3k rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a paddle-shifted seven-speed dual-clutch F1 automatic transaxle. Service in January 2020 by Ferrari and Maserati of Newport Beach, California included an oil change and installation of replacement pollen filters.
The September 2020 Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage, lists one open recall for the passenger-side airbag, and displays history in Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and California. The car is currently leased, and the remaining balance will need to be paid off prior to transfer of its title to the new owner.
