This 1973 DeTomaso Pantera was built in December 1972 and delivered new to Don Kremer Lincoln-Mercury of Dayton, Ohio. The car was reportedly acquired by its current owner in 2017 and recommissioned by the selling dealer in 2019 following approximately 34 years in storage. Finished in red over a black interior, the car is powered by a mid-mounted 351ci Cleveland V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Features include rubber bumpers, retractable headlamps, Campagnolo wheels, and an AM/FM radio. This Pantera is now being offered by the selling dealer with recent service records, a deluxe Marti report, and a clean Pennsylvania title.
Originally finished in Orange (9), the body was repainted its current shade of red some time during previous ownership. Features include rubber impact bumpers and retractable headlamps.
The car rides on Campagnolo wheels wrapped in period-style Michelin rubber. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs that have reportedly received an overhaul.
The cabin features twin bucket seats trimmed in black with a matching dashboard and door panels along with gray carpets. Amenities include a gated shifter, a horizontally-mounted AM/FM radio in the center console, and air conditioning.
A black leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 200-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer, while the center stack houses auxiliary gauges monitoring oil pressure, fuel level, amperage, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows just under 9k miles, though total mileage is unknown.
Power is provided by a 351ci Ford Cleveland V8 equipped with an Autolite carburetor, a York air conditioning compressor, and linked with a ZF five-speed manual transaxle. The cooling and fuel systems have reportedly been overhauled by the selling dealer.
