BaT Auction: 2k-Mile 2002 Pontiac Trans Am SLP Firehawk

This Pontiac Trans Am SLP Firehawk is #241 of 1,503 examples produced for the 2002 model year and was sold new Borcherding Pontiac-Buick-GMC of Cincinnati, Ohio. The car remained with its original owner until 2019 and was acquired by the selling dealer in August 2020. It is finished in Pewter Metallic over Ebony leather and powered by a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Performance enhancements from SLP Engineering include a cold air induction composite hood with heat extractors, a stainless steel exhaust system, and suspension upgrades. This SLP Firehawk indicates 2k miles and is offered by the selling dealer in Massachusetts with window stickers and build sheets, SLP and Firehawk Registry paperwork and memorabilia, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Rhode Island title.

The car is finished in Pewter Metallic and features a composite hood with cold air induction scoops and heat extractors as well as fog lamps, Firehawk graphics, and a rear wing. “Screaming chicken” graphics are etched onto the removable glass T-top panels.

Firehawk-specific 17″ wheels wear Firestone Firehawk SZ50EP tires. This example is equipped with the optional Bilstein Ultra Performance suspension package from SLP Engineering as well as a front strut tower brace.

The October 2020 Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history with two previous owners in Ohio and and Rhode Island.
