This 1975 Ford Bronco Ranger was reportedly purchased by the seller from the first owner in 2018, and the ensuing custom build included the installation of a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 paired with a 6R80 six-speed automatic transmission and a Dana 20 dual-range transfer case. The truck is finished in Medium Green Glow with white accents and a white removable hardtop over a green houndstooth vinyl interior, and modifications include a 2.5″ suspension lift, 17″ Method wheels with 35″ Toyo A/T tires, LED headlights, and a 500-watt AC inverter plug in place of the front fuel filler. Additional equipment includes Vintage Air climate control, Dakota Digital gauges, a roll bar, an Ididit tilt steering column, a RetroSound stereo with Bluetooth connectivity, 4.88:1 axles, Bilstein shocks, drilled and slotted front disc brakes, and a custom dual exhaust system with Borla mufflers. This modified Bronco is now offered with build photos and records, a Deluxe Marti report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The body is finished in Medium Green Glow (W) with white graphics, a white removable hardtop, and white aftermarket fender flares. Equipment includes a roof rack, a swing-away rear tire carrier, polished beltline moldings with white rubber inserts, and LED headlights. The body was removed from the frame during the 2018 build, the frame was blasted and powder-coated satin black, rust on the inner rocker panels and inner fenders was cut out and patched, and a replacement windshield was installed. A 500-amp power inverter is fitted with an outlet hidden beneath the front fuel filler cap. The seller notes a cracked and delaminating vent window on the driver’s door, that the windshield glass features a light green tint while the rest of the glass is untinted, and that the reverse lights do not work. The condition of the paint can be viewed up close in the gallery below.
17″ Method Race NV305 wheels are finished in Bronze and are wrapped in 35×12.5″ Toyo Open Country A/T II tires. Suspension modifications include a 2.5″ lift with variable rate coil springs, Bilstein 7120 reservoir-style front shocks, and Bilstein 5100 rear shocks. Braking is handled by a Tom’s Bronco Parts 8″ booster and master cylinder along with front drilled and slotted discs, 11″ rear drums, and stainless brake lines. Power-assisted steering is via a Borgeson quick-ratio steering box, an adjustable track bar, and custom steering linkage with heim ends.
The interior features worn green houndstooth seats with matching door panels, which were included as part of the Ranger package. The 2018 build included installing replacement green carpets, a Vintage Air SureFit climate control system, an Ididit tilt steering column, and a RetroSound stereo with Bluetooth and USB connectivity, a 1000-watt amplifier, a Kicker subwoofer, and JL Audio speakers. Additional equipment includes a roll bar behind the front seats, three-point retractable shoulder belts, and a gun rack mounted on the right-rear window. The seller notes that the dash-top defrost louvers are missing and that one rear seat armrest is cracked.
A custom black 1940s Ford-style steering wheel fronts a Dakota Digital RTX gauge cluster, which consists of a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for battery voltage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. An inset digital display shows vehicle speed as well as a digital odometer showing just over 2k miles, all of which were added by the seller since the 2018 build. True mileage is unknown.
The 5.0-liter Coyote V8 features 32 valves and dual overhead camshafts and was reportedly sourced from a 2014 Mustang GT. Additional equipment includes a PBH Performance serpentine accessory drive kit, a Ron Davis aluminum radiator, an Optima red-top battery, and gas strut-assisted hood hinges.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a 6R80 six-speed automatic transmission and a Dana 20 “twin-stick” transfer case. A Ford 9″ rear axle is fitted with an Eaton Detroit Locker limited slip, 31-spline axles, and 4.88:1 gears. The Dana 44 front axle features 31-spline axles and a 4.88:1 limited-slip differential along with Warn manual locking hubs. Additional equipment includes a 23-gallon fuel tank and a custom 2.5″ dual exhaust system with Borla mufflers.
The Deluxe Marti report lists factory colors and options and shows an actual production date of January 8, 1975. A video presentation from the seller is presented below.
