BaT Auction: 7k-Mile 2007 Porsche 911 Turbo

This 2007 Porsche 911 Turbo was sold new from Porsche Orland Park in Illinois and resided with two owners in the state before the seller purchased it in 2009. The car is finished in black over a black interior and is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six paired with a Tiptronic S five-speed automatic transaxle. Equipment includes a power-operated sunroof, a hydraulically actuated rear spoiler, cross-drilled brake rotors, automatic climate control, heated front seats, and the Sport Chrono package. Now showing 7k miles, this 997 Turbo is offered with an owner’s manual, service records, and a clean New York title in the seller’s name.

The body is finished in black and features a power tilting and sliding sunroof, bi-xenon headlights, and integrated fog lamps. Distinguishing 997 Turbo features include revised bumper covers, flared rear fenders, side and rear intakes, a lower front lip spoiler, and a hydraulically deployed rear wing.

Factory 19″ multi-spoke wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires measuring 235/35 up front and 305/30 out back. Braking is handled by red-finished six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers paired with cross-drilled and ventilated rotors at all four corners.

The seats are trimmed in black leather with matching carpets and door panels, brushed aluminum accents, and a black dashboard. Equipment includes heated and power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, automatic climate control, and the Sport Chrono Package, which includes variable performance settings and a stopwatch mounted at the center of the dashboard.

Factory white instrumentation consists of an 8k-rpm tachometer, a 225-mph speedometer, and gauges for oil temperature, coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The digital odometer shows 7k miles, approximately 3k of which were added by the seller since 2009.

The twin-turbocharged 3.6L Mezger flat-six was factory rated at 480 horsepower and up to 502 lb-ft of torque during overboost situations in which the engine management system allows an increase in boost for up to 10 seconds. An oil and filter change was performed in September 2020.

Power is delivered to all four wheels through a five-speed Tiptronic S automatic transaxle with a manual shifting mode. Standard equipment included Porsche Traction Management and Porsche Stability Management.

The Carfax report shows registration history in Illinois and New York and indicates no accidents or other damage. The seller has provided a walk-around and start-up video below.
