This 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 is finished in white over gray and powered by a fuel-injected 4.0-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck was acquired by the seller in a May 2020 BaT Auction and was previously listed on BaT in April 2017. Equipment includes an Old Man Emu suspension lift, chrome 15″ wheels, tinted windows, power windows and locks, air conditioning, a cassette stereo, and a MagnaFlow muffler. This FJ62 has 32k miles and is offered by the seller in Florida on behalf of the current owner with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title in the name of the owner’s LLC.
The truck is finished in White (045) and features tinted windows as well as chrome front and rear bumpers, mirror caps, door handles, and trim. A ceramic paint coating was applied in February 2018. The seller notes that the fuel door rubber bumpers and the “unleaded fuel” sticker are missing and replacements are included in the sale.
Polished 15″ steel wheels wear 31″x10.5″ Falken Wildpeak A/T tires, and a matching spare is mounted underneath. The truck is equipped with Aisin manually-locking front hubs and a 2″ lift consisting of Old Man Emu leaf springs and NitroCharger shocks as well as a steering stabilizer.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in gray striped cloth with matching door panel inserts. Amenities include air conditioning, a rear heater, power accessories, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo. There is a tear in the vinyl trim on the right side of the rear bench seat bottom. Two sets of gray carpeted floor mats are included in the sale, and an interior overview video is provided here.
Instrumentation includes a 110-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 4,500-rpm redline, and a combination gauge with readouts for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows just over 32k miles, approximately 100 of which were added by the current owner.
The fuel-injected 3F-E 4.0-liter straight-six was factory-rated at 155 horsepower with 220 lb-ft of torque. The accessory drive belts and fluids were reportedly replaced under previous ownership, and readings from a compression test are shown in the photo gallery.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. A MagnaFlow muffler is fitted.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Massachusetts, Texas, California, Missouri, North Carolina, and Montana beginning in March 1989. A walk-around video is provided below along with an engine start, compression test, and driving video.
