BaT Auction: 14k-Mile 1991 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 at No Reserve

This 1991 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 is finished in white over black leather and is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a removable glass roof panel, a removable color-matched roof panel, pop-up headlights, 17″ alloy wheels, an adaptive suspension, air conditioning, power-adjustable seats, and a Bose sound system. The car was acquired by the selling dealer in October 2020, reportedly from the original owner, and currently shows 14k miles. This Corvette ZR-1 is now offered at no reserve with factory literature, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title.

The car is finished in white and features pop-up headlights, tinted windows, a removable glass roof panel, quad taillights, and quad exhaust outlets. A color-matched removable roof panel is also included in the sale.

Staggered-width 17″ alloy wheels are mounted with older Goodyear Eagle ZR35 tires. The ZR-1 featured Bosch ABS and a 3″ wider rear track than the standard Corvette.

The cabin is upholstered in black leather with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes power-adjustable sport seats, power windows, air conditioning, and a Bose sound system with a digital AM/FM/cassette stereo. A control dial for the adaptive suspension system is located in the center console.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames an 8k-rpm tachometer, a digital speedometer, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, water temperature, and voltage. The digital odometer shows 14k miles, fewer than 50 of which were added by the selling dealer.

The aluminum 5.7-liter LT5 V8 features dual overhead camshafts and produced 375 horsepower and 370 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission.
