This 1992 Land Rover Defender 110 is a European left-hand-drive example that was modified by Amsterdam, Netherlands-based customizer The Landrovers, and it was completed in 2019 and delivered to the current owner in the US in 2020. The truck was refinished in metallic gray over a black interior, and a refurbished powertrain consisting of a 2.5-liter turbodiesel inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case was installed. Equipment includes stainless-steel hardware, a full body and underside ceramic coating, a black soft top, a suspension lift, side steps, 18″ black-finished Land Rover Sawtooth wheels with BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires, a rear step bumper with a trailer hitch, LED exterior lighting, air conditioning, and a Pioneer touchscreen stereo head unit. An oil change and inspection was completed in November 2020, and this modified Defender 110 is now offered on dealer consignment in New York with a Connecticut registration document.
The body was refinished in metallic gray with a black soft top featuring roll-up side windows. Additional exterior equipment includes a KBX black front grille and fender vents, color-coordinated fender flares, tubular side steps, LED lighting, and a rear step bumper with a trailer hitch. A ceramic coating was applied to the exterior, and paint meter readings from around the truck are supplied in the gallery below.
Black-finished 18″ Land Rover Sawtooth wheels wear 275/70 BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tires, and a matching spare wheel and tire are mounted out back on a swing-out carrier. A suspension lift was installed after the truck was imported, and braking power is supplied by cross-drilled and slotted front discs along with rear drums.
The cabin is trimmed in black with a matching dashboard, door panels, and floor coverings. Amenities include metal shift knobs atop the gearshift and transfer case levers, a center console with an armrest and cupholders, black rubber floor mats, a USB charging port, and a Pioneer touchscreen stereo.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for voltage, fuel level and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows just over 2k miles, nearly all of which were added by the current owner since the build was completed. Total chassis mileage is unknown.
The second row features three high-back seats, while the rear cargo area contains four folding jump seats with matching upholstery along with a rubber Land Rover floor mat.
The 2.5-liter 200Tdi turbodiesel inline-four is fitted with an intercooler and a Garrett turbocharger. An oil change was performed in preparation for sale.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case, and the underside was ceramic-coated after its arrival in the US.
Photos of the build process, including the chassis, brakes, body, and engine assembly, are presented in the gallery below.
A walk-around and driving video is presented above.
