BaT Auction: 1995 Toyota Supra Turbo

This 1995 Toyota Supra Turbo is finished in black over black leather and powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0L 2JZ-GTE inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Performance modifications include a front-mounted intercooler, a blow-off valve, an aftermarket full exhaust system, an AEM boost controller, a wide-band O2 sensor, and a boost cut defender, while appearance modifications consist of a GReddy front lip along with later-style front turn signals, taillights, and a ‘turbo’ emblem. The car was first sold in California and remained registered in the state through the current owner’s acquisition in 2008. It now has under 57k miles, and recent work included the removal of an aftermarket alarm system. This A80 Supra is now offered on behalf of its current owner with service records, an owners manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.

The car is finished in black and is fitted with a GReddy front lip, along with a turbo badge, turn signals, and taillights from a later-model Supra. Equipment includes a removable roof panel, an optional factory rear wing, and a polished exhaust tip. VIN-stamped stickers and window etchings from around the vehicle are presented in the gallery below, and the seller notes the left door has “Toyota R DOT” markings but retains the VIN-etched window. The front and rear bumpers were refinished during previous ownership, reportedly to correct fading, and blemishes in the paint are visible, including scratches on the rear bumper, dents in the roof panel, and stone chips on the fascia.

Chrome-finished 17″ wheels wear Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 tires, and braking power is supplied by four-wheel anti-lock discs with calipers featuring Supra script. Curb marks and chrome peeling is noted on the wheels.

The cabin features seats trimmed in black leather with matching door panels, carpets, and interior plastics. Amenities include Supra-script floor mats, power accessories, automatic climate control, and a factory stereo with cassette and CD players. The seller notes an aftermarket alarm was recently removed and electrical repairs were performed to correct issues caused by the system.

The factory four-spoke airbag steering wheel frames a central tachometer, a 180-mph speedometer, and a combination gauge for fuel level and coolant temperature, and gauges for the boost controller and wideband O2 sensor have been added to the center stack. The digital odometer shows under 57k miles, approximately 14k of which were added by the current owner.

The twin-turbocharged 3.0L inline-six has been modified with an aftermarket intake, a front-mounted intercooler, a blow-off valve, an AEM boost controller, a wide-band O2 sensor, a boost cut defender, and an aftermarket full exhaust system with a downpipe.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. Additional underside photos are presented in the gallery.

Service records are said to include documents dating back to the first owner, with complete records available from 2008.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in California through the most recent entry in May 2018, which was when the most recent California emissions test was performed.

A walk-around and driving video is presented above.
