BaT Auction: 2000 Audi S4 6-Speed

This 2000 Audi S4 was first delivered to McDonald Automotive Group in Littleton, Colorado, and was later acquired by the seller in July 2019. The car is finished in silver over black and powered by a twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 that drives all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a power-operated sunroof, Xenon headlights with washers, power-adjustable heated front seats, and a Bose CD and cassette stereo. Modifications consist of aftermarket sway bars and an APR exhaust system. Service under current ownership has included replacing the timing belt, water pump, front upper control arms, and the engine and transmission mounts. This B5 S4 is offered with a window sticker, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Light Silver Clearcoat and features a power-operated sunroof, Xenon headlights with washers, and foglights. Scratches on the rear bumper and hail damage on the roof are photographed up close in the gallery below. The seller notes that the headlight level sensor makes a noise at low speeds.

Factory 17″ Ronal Avus wheels are wrapped in 225/45 Cooper Zeon RS3-A tires. Aftermarket sway bars are fitted, and the seller notes the upper control arms were replaced in September 2019. The seller notes that there is a power steering fluid leak.

The seating surfaces are upholstered in Onyx Silk Nappa leather with birdseye maple veneer accenting the matching dashboard and door panels. Amenities include power-adjustable heated front seats, automatic climate control, a Bose CD and cassette stereo, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The passenger-side door speaker does not work.

The S-badged steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 170-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 76k miles, approximately 700 of which have been added by the seller. The LCD message screen is missing pixels.

The twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 was factory-rated at 250 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, and the engine and transmission mounts are said to have been replaced in September 2019, and the battery was replaced in September 2020. The seller notes that the turbo oil return line is leaking.

Power is directed to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. An APR exhaust system has been installed.

The window sticker shows delivery to McDonald Automotive Group in Littleton, Colorado as well as colors, options, and a total price of $41,400.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Montana and Colorado. Driving and walk-around videos are provided below.
