This 1990 Ferrari Testarossa is one of approximately 1,300 produced for the model year and is finished in Rosso Corsa over a tan leather interior. Power is provided by a 4.9-liter flat-12 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle connected to a gated shifter. Service in 2020 included a front brake overhaul as well as installing a rebuilt replacement short block assembly along with a timing belt service and an air conditioning recharge. The car features 17″ center-lock wheels, four-wheel ventilated disc brakes, power windows, and air conditioning. This Testarossa shows 44k miles and is now offered on behalf of the current owner with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the owner’s name.
The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Rosso Corsa (300) and features pop-up headlights, side strakes, black rear grille slats, and a front spoiler housing an asymmetrical cooling duct on the driver’s side. Quad exhaust tips exit through the rear fascia, and the black panel on the rear bumper was refinished in 2020.
17″ center-lock wheels are wrapped in Sumitomo HTR ZIII tires measuring 255/40 up front and 275/40 out back. Service performed at Forza Motors of Monterey, California, in September 2020 included rebuilt front brake calipers and replacement front pads.
The interior features power-operated bucket seats upholstered in tan leather, matching door panels with brown accents, and a brown dash pad. Equipment includes tan carpets, passive shoulder belts, air conditioning, power windows, a gated shifter, embroidered floor mats, and a fire extinguisher mounted on the passenger floor pan.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Additional gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are mounted in the center stack, and the six-digit odometer shows 44k miles, approximately 8k of which were added by the current owner since 2012.
The 48-valve 4.9L Tipo F113 DOHC flat-12 features Bosch KE-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 380 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. A replacement short block was sourced and the engine was rebuilt by Forza Motors in September 2020, at which time new belts were installed, the engine oil and coolant were replaced, the oil cooler and oil tank were cleaned, and the air-conditioning system was charged.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle.
The Carfax report shows registration history in California since the first entry in 1991, and indicates no accidents or other damage.
