This 2005 Volvo V70R has spent much of its life in California and is finished in dark gray over navy blue leather. Power comes from a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-five paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and a Haldex-based all-wheel drive system. Features include 18″ Pegasus wheels, stability and traction control, a sunroof, V70R-specific styling, power-adjustable front seats, automatic dual-zone climate control, and a factory stereo with a six-disc CD changer. The timing belt was replaced at 85k miles, and recent servicing is said to include replacement front brake components. This V70R now shows 100k miles and is offered by the selling dealer with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The body is finished in Titanium Grey Pearl (455) and features a V70R-specific front air dam, side moldings, rear bumper, and rear spoiler along with headlamp wipers, fog lights, a sunroof, tinted windows, and a rear wiper. Rock chips are visible on the front and rear bumper covers.
18″ five-spoke Pegasus “R” wheels have been refinished in black and are mounted with 235/40 Goodyear Eagle Sport tires. Braking is handled by rotors equipped with R-script calipers at all four corners, and the car features Dynamic Stability and Traction Control. Recent servicing is said to include replacement of front brake components.
The interior is upholstered in Navy Nordkap leather (A576) with matching door panel inserts, a black dashboard, and aluminum-look trim. Amenities include power-adjustable front seats, automatic dual-zone climate control, a rear cargo cover, rubber floor mats, power accessories, and a factory stereo with a six-disc CD changer. Wear is noted on the driver’s seat. A set of carpet floor mats accompanies the car.
An R-branded multifunction steering wheel frames factory instrumentation with blue gauge faces and aluminum-look bezels, including a 160-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer. The digital odometer shows 100k miles, approximately 2k of which have been added under current ownership.
The turbocharged and intercooled 2.5-liter inline-five was rated at 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a Haldex all-wheel-drive system. The timing belt was replaced in August 2015 at 85k miles.
