This 1993 Ducati 900 Superlight is equipped with a 904cc Desmodromic L-twin mated to a six-speed transmission and finished in yellow with white accents over a white trellis frame. Additional equipment includes two-piece magnesium and aluminum wheels, triple Brembo disc brakes, a Showa inverted fork and monoshock, a numbered plaque, Staintune mufflers, a vented clutch cover, and Mikuni carburetors. The bike was acquired by its previous owner in 2015 and subsequently placed on display in a collection. This 900 SL is offered by the selling dealer with its removed stock carburetors and airbox as well as a clean Florida title.
The yellow and white bodywork features a solo tail section as well as carbon fiber fenders, and is mounted over a white trellis frame. Additional equipment includes a clear windscreen, fairing-mounted mirrors, and rear-set foot controls.
Two-piece Marvic wheels feature magnesium spokes and 17″ aluminum rims that are mounted with ZR-rated Michelin tires. Showa suspension consists of an inverted fork as well as a monoshock mounted to a braced double-sided swingarm. Brembo brakes include dual stainless steel discs up front and a fully-floating single version in the rear.
Raised clip-on handlebars are mounted below the top triple clamp, which features a plaque denoting the bike as Superlight #770. Instrumentation includes a tachometer with a 9k-rpm redline, a 160-mph speedometer, and a five-digit odometer showing 3k miles.
The air-cooled 904cc L-twin featured two desmodromic valves per cylinder, belt-driven single overhead camshafts, and an external oil cooler, and produced 80 horsepower when new. The bike is equipped with a vented clutch cover, Staintune mufflers, and replacement Mikuni carburetors. Power is routed to the rear wheel through a dry clutch, a six-speed transmission, and a drive chain. The selling states that the engine turns over but does not start, and a carburetor service is recommended.
The stock carburetors and airbox are included in the sale.
