BaT Auction: 19k Mile 2003 BMW Z4 Roadster 6-Speed at No Reserve

This 2003 BMW Z4 roadster is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six paired with a six-speed manual transmission, and is finished in Merlot Red Metallic over a Beige Oregon leather interior. Equipment includes a power-operated black soft top, a wind deflector, a HiFi audio system, and 17″ alloy wheels. Originally registered in North Carolina, the car was relocated to Florida before the selling dealer acquired it in 2020. Services performed in March 2021 included an oil change as well as replacing the brake and clutch fluid, battery, air filter, air conditioning compressor and drier, and convertible top hydraulic cylinders. This E85 roadster shows 19k miles and is offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with factory literature, a tool kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.

The body is finished in Merlot Red Metallic (A02) and features a black cloth convertible top with a glass rear window. Additional equipment includes a wind deflector, fog lamps, and dual exhaust outlets. The convertible top hydraulic cylinders were replaced in March 2021, and paint chips are noted below the grill and the driver-side fog light.

Silver 17″ Style 103 double-spoke wheels wear BMW center caps and are mounted with 225/45 Pirelli Cinturato run-flat tires showing 2019 and 2020 date codes. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs with ABS, and the brake fluid was exchanged in March 2021.

The cabin features power-adjustable bucket seats upholstered in Beige Oregon leather with matching door panels and carpets. Amenities include position memory for the driver, automatic climate control, a BMW Business CD stereo with HiFi sound, an onboard computer, and cruise control.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer with inset fuel-level and coolant-temperature gauges. The digital odometer shows approximately 19k miles.

The 3.0-liter M54 inline-six was factory rated at 225 horsepower and 215 lb-ft of torque. An oil change, new air filter, and air conditioning compressor and receiver drier replacement were completed in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery below.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history with four owners in North Carolina and Florida.
