Power comes from a supercharged 4.6-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and additional equipment includes a power-operated convertible top, 17″ wheels, independent rear suspension, and a unique Cobra appearance kit. The car was built at the Dearborn Assembly Plant in Michigan on January 9, 2004 and delivered to Haldeman Ford of Trenton, New Jersey, reportedly passing through two owners before being acquired by the selling dealer in February 2021. This SVT Cobra has under 700 miles and is offered at no reserve with documentation, a window sticker, a Mustang car cover, a front-end cover, and manufacturer’s literature in addition to an accident-free Carfax report and a clean New Jersey title.
The car is finished in Mystichrome paint which contains ChromaFlair pigments that shift between bright topaz green, cobalt blue, royal purple, and deep onyx black. Equipment includes a vented hood, a rear spoiler, front and rear valances, and side moldings along with fog lights, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual stainless-steel exhaust outlets. The black convertible top can be seen raised and lowered in the gallery.
Factory 17″ five-spoke wheels wear SVT center caps and are wrapped in 275/40 Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. SVT suspension components consist of linear-rate springs, gas-pressurized front struts and rear shocks, and independent rear suspension.
The cabin features articulated sport seats upholstered in Dark Charcoal leather with Mystichrome inserts and a Cobra emblem embroidered into the seat backs. Amenities include power accessories, cruise control, air conditioning, remote keyless entry, and a factory stereo with a six-disc CD changer.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel also features Mystichrome inserts and frames SVT instrumentation that consists of a 160-mph speedometer, tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer has under 700 miles.
The 4.6-liter DOHC V8 is equipped with a Roots-type supercharger and was factory rated at 390 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. A plaque showing the builder’s signatures is affixed to the valve cover.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Service in March 2021 reportedly consisted of flushing and replacing all fluids in addition to an inspection.
A Ford SVT Certificate of Authenticity and corresponding letters will accompany the car along with a window sticker, a Mustang car cover, a front-end cover, and manufacturer’s literature.
