This 1972 Ford Bronco was modified by its previous owner with an electronic fuel-injected 331ci V8 paired with a C4 three-speed automatic transmission and a Dana 20 two-speed transfer case. Finished in metallic orange, the truck is equipped with aftermarket bumpers, fender flares, a six-point roll cage with a composite roof, LED and HID exterior lighting, bolstered seats with four-point harnesses, off-road navigation, a race radio with four headsets, and a JVC head unit. The truck has been lifted and rides on Fox shocks with remote reservoirs as well as 15″ steel wheels wearing 35″ BFGoodrich mud tires. This Bronco was acquired by the seller in 2020 and is now offered with a fuel injection programmer, a hi-lift jack, and a clean Arizona title.
The truck was repainted its current shade of metallic orange under previous ownership. Modifications include trimmed doors with shaved handles, black plastic fender flares, rocker panel trim, an aftermarket front bumper with four HID spotlights and an additional LED light bar, Chupacabra mirrors, a roof-mounted light bar, and a rear bumper incorporating a trailer hitch and swing-out carriers for a jerrycan and spare. The six-point roll cage is fitted with a composite top and aftermarket antennas for the race radio.
The truck rides on a lifted suspension incorporating Fox remote reservoir gas shocks as well as an Antirock rear sway bar. The black steel wheels feature red pinstripes and wear 35″ BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 tires. A matching spare is mounted at the rear.
The cabin offers seating for four passengers on bolstered Twisted Stitch seats equipped with Simpson four-point harnesses. The tub and bed caps have been painted with textured black liner, and a hi-lift jack is mounted behind the rear seat. A custom dash has been added, along with a locking center console with cupholders and a JVC head unit, which is linked to JL speakers and an amplifier. A Lowrance Elite navigation display is mounted in the dash, and a PCI 4-Link Pro Elite race radio and four headsets are included.
An aftermarket three-spoke steering wheel fronts a carbon fiber dash panel housing white AutoMeter instrumentation as well as various toggle switches. The truck is not equipped with a speedometer or odometer. Actual chassis mileage is unknown.
The 331ci V8 is said to have been built by WFO Racing and Machine in Phoenix, Arizona and features EZ-EFI fuel injection with a remote programmer, Ford Racing valve covers, MSD electronic ignition and coil, a ProForm high-torque starter, an aluminum radiator, auxiliary cooling fans, James Duff ceramic coated headers, and a Hughes dipstick and tube. An oil change was performed in 2020.
The C4 three-speed automatic transmission is fitted with an aluminum cooler and an electric fan. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a Dana 20 transfer case, a Dana 44 front axle, and Ford 9″ rear axle protected by James Duff skid plates. The transmission filter and fluid were changed in 2020. Additional underbody photos are provided in the gallery.
