BaT Auction: 17k-Mile 2004 Honda S2000 at No Reserve

This 2004 Honda S2000 is finished in Sebring Silver Metallic over black leather and is powered by a 2.2-liter inline-four paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Features include push-button start, a power-retractable soft top with boot, cruise control, air conditioning, a CD stereo, and xenon headlights. The car was sold new by Classic Honda in Streetsboro, Ohio, and was acquired by the seller in 2014. This AP2 has 17k miles and is now offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, three sets of keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.

The car is finished in Sebring Silver Metallic and features xenon headlights, dual exhaust outlets, and a power-retractable convertible top with a glass rear window. The seller notes blemishes on the front bumper cover and driver side quarter panel. Close-up photos of the paint, lenses, and soft top can be viewed in the gallery.

Factory 17″ wheels are wrapped in 215/45 front and 245/40 rear Bridgestone Potenza RE050 tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs, and the car rides on four-wheel double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars.

The cabin features black leather seats with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Appointments include aluminum pedals, push-button start, cruise control, air conditioning, power accessories, and a CD stereo concealed behind a flip-down cover.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a digital speedometer, a sweeping 9k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer has 17k miles, 8k of which the seller has added in seven years of ownership.

The 2.2-liter F22C1 inline-four is equipped with VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 237 horsepower at 7,800 rpm and 162 lb-ft of torque at 6,500 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The seller states that an oil change has been performed in the past 12 months.

Additional photos of the underside are available in the gallery below.

Manufacturer’s literature, two sets of keys with key fobs, a valet key, and an owner’s manual are included in the sale.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Ohio and Florida through the most recent entry in March 2020.
