This 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SL was sold new by Lewbar Imports in West Springfield, Massachusetts, and later spent time in Florida and Texas before its recent acquisition by the selling dealer. The car is finished in Almandine Red Metallic over Cream Beige leather and is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a black convertible top, a body-color removable hardtop, 15″ alloy wheels, anti-lock disc brakes, automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows, and a Becker Grand Prix stereo. This 560SL shows 6,500 miles and is now offered at no reserve by the selling dealer in Maryland with service records, owner’s manuals, two keys, a tool kit and accessories, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
The car is finished in Almandine Red Metallic (512) and equipped with a black soft top. Features include fog lights, chrome-accented bumpers and wheel arch trim, and a power radio antenna. The 5.5-liter M117 V8 is equipped with Bosch fuel injection and was factory rated at 227 horsepower and 279 lb-ft of torque. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. The most recent service was carried out in April 2019 by Mercedes-Benz of Clear Lake, Florida, and consisted of changing the oil and flushing the brake and transmission fluids.
