This 1988 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 was acquired by the seller in 2020 and subsequently refreshed. Work is said to have included a repaint in metallic orange and tan and replacement of the wheels, tires, bumpers, trim, window seals, and headliner. The truck is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and equipment includes tan cloth upholstery, running boards, tinted windows, air conditioning, and power accessories. This Suburban is now offered with two sets of wheels, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The body has been refinished in metallic orange and tan and features white pin-striping, tinted windows, running boards, rear barn doors, and Silverado badging.
The seller states that the bumpers, trim, window seals, and door strikers were replaced during the refurbishment and that the rocker panels have been coated in a paint-protection film.
Silver 15″ steel wheels are currently mounted on the truck. The wheels have been refinished and wear 235/75 Hankook Optimo H724 white-wall tires. The Rallye-style wheels depicted in the rest of the photos are included in the sale.
The cabin is upholstered in tan cloth and features front bucket seats, a center console, power accessories, and front and rear air conditioning. The seller states that the headliner has been replaced. A set of rubber floor mats is included in the sale.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 7,400 miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 5.7-liter V8 was factory-rated at 210 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. Service in preparation for the sale is said to have included replacing the battery and the exhaust piping after the catalytic converter.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional images of the underside are available in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and notes a potential odometer rollover in April 2017. History is listed in Illinois and Florida.
