This 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is one of 2,025 Commemorative Edition models produced to celebrate the two class victories of the C5-R at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The car is finished in Le Mans Blue over black leather and powered by a 5.7-liter LS6 V8 mated to a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Features include a carbon fiber hood, racing stripes, polished wheels, a head-up display, dual-zone automatic climate control, power accessories, and Bose speakers. The car was first registered in Delaware and spent time in California and Arizona before it was acquired by the selling dealer in May 2021. This C5 Z06 shows 5k miles and is offered by the selling dealer in California with a window sticker, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title.
All 2004 Commemorative Edition Z06 models were finished in Le Mans Blue (19U) and equipped with a carbon fiber hood, thinner glass, a titanium exhaust system, and lightweight wheels. Silver and red decal stripes adorn the hood, roof, and deck lid, and additional features include commemorative Le Mans badging, pop-up headlights and Z06-specific side vents.
Polished 17″ and 18″ wheels wear Commemorative Edition center caps and staggered-width Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The Z06 suspension featured a larger front stabilizer bar, increased damping, and a higher spring rate than the standard Corvette, and disc brakes with red-painted calipers are mounted at all four corners. The car is also equipped with active handling and traction control systems.
The cabin features power-adjustable black leather seats with matching carpets and plastics. A Corvette insignia is embroidered on each headrest, and additional equipment includes a head-up display, driver memory settings, cruise control, a Bose sound system, and dual-zone automatic climate control. An aftermarket divider with storage trays and cupholders is located behind the seats.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, a digital information center, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates just over 5k miles.
The 5.7-liter LS6 V8 was based upon the LS1 installed in contemporary Corvettes, with revisions including a refined aluminum block, higher-lift camshaft, 10.5:1 compression ratio, and increased air and oil flow. Factory-rated output for the 2004 model year was 405 horsepower and 400 ft-lbs of torque.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a 3.42:1 limited-slip differential. Additional underbody photos are viewable in the gallery below.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to Middletown Chevrolet of Delaware and a total price of $57,485.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in Delaware, California, and Arizona.
