This 2005 Lotus Elise is finished in Starlight Black Metallic and is powered by a 1.8L inline-four paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. Features include the Sport and Touring packages, which add Bilstein shocks, forged aluminum wheels, leather-upholstered seats, sound deadening, power windows, and a stereo. The car was first sold in California, and spent time in several states before its acquisition in December 2020 by the selling dealer. It now has just over 10k miles, and service performed in preparation for the sale included an oil change and brake system flush. This Elise is now offered in Texas at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, recent service records, a removable soft top, the removed factory stereo, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The body is finished in Starlight Black Metallic, and equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, dual mirrors, and a twin-tip exhaust system exiting from the center of the aluminum rear diffuser. A collapsible soft top is included in the sale. Blemishes and imperfections are highlighted in the gallery below.
Forged-alloy wheels finished in silver measure 16″ in diameter up front and 17″ at the back, and they are mounted with Yokohama Advan Neova tires. Sport package equipment includes dual oil coolers and Bilstein suspension, while braking is from cross-drilled rotors all around and Lotus-branded calipers up front.
Interior finishes include red leather upholstery with exposed aluminum structural details, and the Touring Pack adds power windows, air conditioning, floor mats, and additional sound insulation. A Sony stereo is housed within the dashboard, and a spare Blaupunkt stereo is included in the sale.
Instrumentation set behind the leather-wrapped steering wheel includes a 160-mph speedometer and a 10k-rpm tachometer. The digital odometer indicates 10k miles.
The Toyota-sourced 1.8L inline-four produced 190 horsepower and 133 lb-ft of torque when new, and power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. A fluid check, oil change, and brake system flush was completed in preparation for the sale.
Manufacturer’s literature and recent service records are included in the sale.
The Carfax report displays ownership history in California, Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and Texas with no accidents or other damage reported. A mileage inconsistency is listed in November 2016 along with an odometer reading of 71,275 miles, though it may be the result of a clerical error.
