This 1999 Jeep Wrangler is finished in Flame Red over gray cloth and vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six linked to a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes a black soft top, air conditioning, retrofitted cruise control, a Bushwacker hood scoop, a Sony CD stereo, Helix speakers, KC auxiliary lights, Quadratec mirrors, black-finished wheel arch flares, and 16″ Rubicon wheels. The truck spent time in New Jersey prior to its acquisition by the seller in 2014 and subsequent relocation to Pennsylvania. Maintenance performed in June 2021 is said to have included an oil change and installation of a replacement steering stabilizer. This TJ now has 17k miles and is offered with manufacturer’s literature, removed and spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.
The body is finished in Flame Red (PR4) and the seller has fitted a black soft top in place of the factory hardtop. Additional exterior features include a receiver hitch, a Bushwacker hood scoop, KC auxiliary lights, Quadratec mirrors, and black-finished wheel arch flares. The factory mirrors and wheel arch flares accompany the sale and are shown in the photo gallery below. The seller notes a scrape and ding on the right quarter panel.
Rubicon 16″ wheels are mounted with 245/75 Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2 tires showing 2017 date codes that the seller states have less than 1k miles on them. Work performed under current ownership included installation of replacement suspension components, and the seller reports that the steering stabilizer was replaced in June 2021. A collection of spare factory suspension components is included in the sale and can be viewed in the photo gallery below.
The cabin features seats upholstered in gray vinyl with patterned cloth inserts. Amenities include air conditioning, a retrofitted factory cruise control system, a locking center console, and an aftermarket Sony CD stereo connected to Helix speakers. A set of front Quadratec rubber floor mats is included in the sale along with the removed factory radio.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 6k-rpm tachometer, a 100-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 17k miles, approximately 6k of which were added by the seller.
The 4.0-liter inline-six was factory rated at 181 horsepower and 222 lb-ft of torque. Work completed during current ownership is said to have included replacing the distributor cap and rotor along with the spark plugs and ignition wires. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The seller notes rust on suspension components, and additional images of the underside can be viewed in the gallery below.
Manufacturer’s literature is pictured above and included in the sale along with spare and removed parts that can be viewed in the gallery below.
