BaT Auction: 2003 BMW M3 Coupe 6-Speed

This 2003 BMW M3 coupe is powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six paired with a six-speed transmission converted to manual operation and is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic over Imola Red Nappa leather. Factory equipment includes a sunroof, heated and power-adjustable seats, xenon headlights, and rear parking sensors, while modifications consist of 18″ Forgestar wheels, H&R springs, Brembo brakes, carbon fiber trim, a Dynavin navigation system, and Active Autowerke exhaust manifolds and air intake. The car was first registered in New Jersey and later moved to Florida where it was recently acquired by the current owner in 2006. This E46 M3 shows 75k miles and is offered on dealership consignment with an owner’s manual, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.

The car is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic (354) and features xenon headlights, a sunroof, painted grille accents, rear parking sensors, carbon fiber diffuser trim, and a trunk spoiler. A blemish on the side skirt is shown up close in the gallery below.

Gray-finished 18″ Forgestar wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires sized 245/35 up front and 275/30 in the rear. The suspension has been fitted with H&R springs, and braking is provided by six-piston front and four-piston rear Brembo calipers over two-piece slotted rotors.

The heated and power-adjustable front sport seats are upholstered in Imola Red Nappa leather, which extends to the rear seats and door panels. Carbon fiber trim accents the dashboard, center console, and side panels, and a Hamann aluminum pedal set has been installed. Amenities include automatic climate control, an onboard computer, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a Harman-Kardon sound system, and an aftermarket Dynavin navigation system.

The Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel frames a 185-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a variable redline, and gauges for fuel level, oil temperature, and coolant temperature. The digital odometer shows 75k miles.

The 3.2-liter inline-six features Double-VANOS variable valve timing and was factory-rated at 333 horsepower and 262 ft-lb of torque. An Active Autowerke air intake and exhaust headers have been added, and the factory SMG transmission was converted to a six-speed manual gearbox under previous ownership. The selling dealer states that a new clutch and flywheel were installed during the transmission conversion in 2020.

The Carfax report lists no accidents or other damage and lists history in New Jersey and Florida.
