BaT Auction: 23k-Mile 2007 Ferrari F430 Spider 6-Speed

This 2007 Ferrari F430 Spider is powered by a 4.3-liter DOHC V8 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle with an electronic limited-slip differential and is finished in black over tan leather. Equipment includes a black power-operated soft top, power-adjustable Daytona-style seats, 19” alloy wheels, a Ferrari-branded stereo, and automatic climate control. The car was acquired by the seller in 2013 and modifications include a Fabspeed exhaust system and Ferrari air horns. This F430 Spider has 23k miles and is offered with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.

The body was designed in collaboration with Pininfarina and is finished in black with a black power-operated soft top. Equipment includes xenon headlights, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, quad exhaust outlets, and a rear diffuser. The hydraulic fluid for the convertible top was refilled in July 2021.

Factory 19″ split-spoke wheels feature yellow Prancing Horse center caps and are wrapped in 225/35 front and 285/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Braking is handled by red-painted calipers fitted over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors.

The power-adjustable Daytona-style seats are trimmed in tan leather with matching stitching and Ferrari logos embossed on the headrests. Amenities include retrofitted Ferrari air horns, automatic climate control, a gated shifter, a Ferrari-branded stereo with a CD changer, and an adjustable Manettino dial on the steering wheel that toggles among several traction control and vehicle settings. The power window switches are sticky.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel is equipped with an engine-start button and frames a 220-mph speedometer, a central yellow tachometer with an 8,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 23k miles, approximately 12k of which were added by the seller.

The mid-mounted 4.3L DOHC V8 was rated at 483 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque when new. A Fabspeed exhaust system has been installed. Service in May 2013 is said to have included replacement of the headers.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle with an electronically-controlled differential.

Manufacturer’s literature, service records, and two keys as well as a window sticker showing factory colors, options, and a total price of $227,401 are included in the sale.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Texas, Georgia, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania.
