BaT Auction: One-Owner 9k-Mile 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera S Coupe

This 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera S coupe was purchased new by the seller from Rusnak Porsche of Pasadena, California, and is finished in grey over black full leather. Power is provided by a 3.8-liter flat-six paired with a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transaxle, and additional equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, 19″ wheels, the Sport Chrono Package Plus, automatic climate control, and a Bose sound system. This 997.2 has just under 9k miles and is offered with a window sticker, owner’s manuals, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The 997 was refreshed for the 2009 model year with revised front and rear fascias, new headlight and taillight designs, and LED auxiliary lighting. This example is finished in Meteor Grey Metallic (9Q) and features a power sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets. Blemishes on the front and rear bumper covers are pointed out by the seller in the image gallery below.

Carrera S 19″ wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring 235/35 up front and 295/30 out back. The car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management, Porsche Active Suspension Management, and red-finished four-piston brake calipers with cross-drilled rotors all around. The seller states the tire pressure monitoring system control module and sensors were replaced in September 2020.

The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in black leather with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include power-adjustable Comfort seats with driver’s position memory, self-dimming mirrors, automatic climate control, the Sport Chrono Package Plus, Bose audio, and an onboard computer.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 7,400-rpm redline, a 200-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates approximately 9k miles.

The 3.8-liter flat-six in the 997.2 Carrera S was rated at 385 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transaxle. The most recent oil change was performed in September 2020.

Additional photos of the underside are provided in the image gallery below.

The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity lists the drivetrain serial numbers, options, and a production completion date of September 10, 2008. Service records, a window sticker, two car covers, a trickle charger, a front license plate mount, and manufacturer’s literature are also included in the sale.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California.
