BaT Auction: 1969 Chevrolet C10 Fleetside Pickup

This 1969 Chevrolet C10 Fleetside pickup was originally sold at Edwards Chevrolet in Greeley, Colorado, and later relocated to Vermont where it was reportedly refurbished under previous ownership. The truck is finished in two-tone turquoise and white over turquoise vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 396ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes an oak wood-slat cargo bed, power steering, a Custom Audio stereo, and aftermarket speakers. Work performed since the seller’s acquisition in 2017 included a tune-up, replacement and relocation of the fuel tank, and installation of an aluminum radiator as well as a replacement starter and exhaust system. This C10 is now offered with original sales documents, a Protect-O-Plate, an owner’s manual, service manuals, partial service records, a wood canoe rack, and a clean New Mexico title in the seller’s name.

The long-bed body left the factory in two-tone turquoise and white and was reportedly repainted in its current finish as part of the aforementioned refurbishment. Features include a cargo bed fitted with oak wood slats separated by steel runners along with black side mouldings and chrome bumpers. The seller notes a missing bolt in the cargo bed, a dent in the front bumper, and scratches and cracks in the paint on the back of the cab. Detailed photos of paint blemishes are presented in the gallery. A wood canoe rack is included in the sale and can also be viewed in the gallery.

White painted steel 15″ wheels wear polished bowtie wheel covers and are mounted with Cooper Trendsetter SE tires. The truck is equipped with power steering and power-assisted brakes.

The cab features a bench seat upholstered in turquoise vinyl and joined by a matching dashboard and door panels. Amenities include a Custom Audio stereo, aftermarket speakers, and rubberized floor coverings. The removed Delco radio will accompany the truck.

A blue two-spoke steering wheel fronts a 100-mph speedometer as well as gauges for amperage, engine temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The seller notes that the fuel gauge sensor was reportedly replaced in 2020. The five-digit odometer shows 64k miles. True mileage is unknown.

The 396ci V8 features a four-barrel carburetor and the radiator, starter, electronic distributor, spark plugs, ignition wires, and valve cover gaskets were replaced under current ownership. Additional work included a carburetor rebuild in 2018.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. The truck features a replacement dual exhaust system, and the fuel tank has been replaced and relocated.

The New Car Delivery Order form shown above lists options, factory colors, and a list price of $3,616.05. Original purchase documentation, a Protect-O-Plate, an owner’s manual, service manuals, and partial service records are included in the sale and can be viewed in the gallery below.
