This 1973 Norton Commando 850 is finished in blue with gold graphics and polished fenders. Power is from an 828cc parallel twin mated to a four-speed manual transmission, and additional equipment includes a two-up seat, a single Mikuni carburetor, and a Norton-Lockheed front disc brake. The bike was reportedly repainted and the engine and transmission overhauled under prior long-term ownership, while work performed since the seller’s acquisition in 2020 included a rebuilt carburetor and speedometer drive unit along with a replacement front brake disc, pads, and battery. This Commando is now offered at no reserve with service records beginning in 1977, spare gaskets, tool kit, an owner’s manual, workshop manual, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.
The 6.6-gallon fuel tank and side panels were refinished in blue under prior ownership and fitted with replacement gold graphics. Details include a two-up seat, polished fenders and chain guard, and a side stand. The horns are nonfunctional per the seller and a paint imperfection on the right side panel is viewable in the gallery.
Wire-spoke 19″ wheels with chrome rims wear IRC Durotour RS-310 tires. Suspension consists of a conventional fork with rubber gaiters up front as well as dual adjustable shocks mounted to the rear swingarm. The front disc and pads were replaced under current ownership and a steering damper has been added.
Instrumentation includes a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, and a five-digit odometer showing 43k miles, approximately 300 of which have been added by the seller. The speedometer cable and rear drive unit were replaced during current ownership.

Power is sent to the rear wheel through a four speed manual transmission that is shifted on the right. The carburetor was rebuilt and the battery and spark plugs replaced under current ownership and an oil change was performed in June 2021.
