This 1987 Porsche 911 Turbo is a factory M505 slant nose that is finished in Guards Red over black leather and is powered by a turbocharged and intercooled 3.3-liter flat-six mated to a four-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Features include a sunroof, a rear wiper, a tea-tray rear spoiler, sports seats, and 16″ BBS alloy wheels. The car was first delivered to Reeves Import Cars of Tampa, Florida, and spent time in the state before being relocated to New York where it was acquired by its current owner in 2016. Service under current ownership has consisted of replacing ignition and fuel system components and the blow-off valve seals. This M505 930 shows under 24k miles and is offered with manufacturer’s literature, a tool roll, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New York title.
The car is finished in Guards Red (G1) and is equipped with factory flachbau bodywork (M505), a package that featured pop-up headlights, vented front fenders, side strakes, and extended side sills. Additional equipment includes a sliding steel sunroof, rear window wiper, and tea-tray rear spoiler.
The 16″ BBS alloy wheels are finished in gold with silver lips and wear Yokohama ES100 tires measuring 205/55 up front and 245/45 at the rear. A space-saver spare is located in the front trunk.
The sports seats with partial power adjustment are trimmed in black partial leather upholstery, and the car was factory-equipped with a 10mm-higher passenger’s seat. Amenities include air conditioning, an aftermarket CD stereo, and power windows. Interior imperfections are shown up close in the gallery.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel with a Porsche badge frames a 170-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer with an inset boost gauge, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows under 24k miles, approximately 6k of which were added under current ownership.
The replacement turbocharged 3.3-liter M930/68 flat-six was rated at 282 horsepower when new. Parts replaced under current ownership are said to have included the capacitive discharge ignition module, ignition coil, internal blow-off valve seals, and the fuel accumulator.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle with a factory limited-slip differential.
The included Porsche Certificate of Authenticity lists colors, equipment, and a production completion date of November 12, 1987.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Florida and New York.
