This 1977 International Harvester Super Scout II is finished in orange with gold and black accents over black vinyl and is powered by a 345ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and dual-range transfer case. The truck was built in 1977 at the Fort Wayne, Indiana plant and acquired by the selling dealer in 2017. Equipment includes fender flares, a roll bar, 15” wheels, a black soft top, a Pioneer cassette stereo, and a storage box console. This Super Scout II is offered with a copy of the line setting ticket and a clean Kansas title.
The truck is finished in orange with black and gold decorative trim and features a black plastic grille and door inserts, fender flares, a windshield frame-mounted mirrors as well as a bikini top fitted over the roll bar. The seller states that the body has been repainted under prior ownership, and the front bumper was repainted in preparation for sale.
Bronze-painted 15” wagon wheels are wrapped in 32×11.50” Yokohama Geolandar M/T tires that show date codes from 2017. The truck features manually-locking front hubs, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a folding rear bench upholstered in black vinyl, a storage box console with cup holders, and a Pioneer cassette stereo.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph horizontal speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 22k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 345ci V8 sends power to the rear or all four wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission and dual-range transfer case. The seller states that the carburetor was tuned and adjusted in preparation for the sale.
