This 1995 Land Rover Defender 90 is #1,974 of a limited number of North American-Specification examples imported into the US for the model year. The truck is finished in Beluga Black over Charcoal vinyl and is powered by a 3.9-liter V8 linked with a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential. Additional equipment includes an internal/external roll cage, air conditioning, an AM/FM cassette stereo, a front brush guard, Hella driving lights, and 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels. The seller acquired the truck in 2020 and has since added approximately 1k of the 71k miles. This D90 NAS is now offered at no reserve with a clean Carfax report and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The aluminum body was reportedly refinished in Beluga Black during a prior refurbishment and features black wheel arch flares and a matching black soft top. The NAS model featured an internal/external roll cage from the factory, and additional equipment includes a front brush guard, Hella driving lights, taillight cages, side step bars, and a tubular rear bumper with a receiver hitch. The seller notes a crease in the trim below the left door as well as swirl marks in the paint.
Factory 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are wrapped in 265/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tires, and a matching spare is mounted at the rear. Braking is from power-assisted discs at all four wheels.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in Charcoal vinyl and are joined by a gray dashboard and door panels. Cabin features include air conditioning, an Alpine CD/Bluetooth stereo, and a locking center console.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 71k miles, approximately 1k of which have been added under current ownership.
The 3.9-liter V8 was factory rated at 182 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque. Service since 2020 has reportedly included fluid changes as well as replacing the head gaskets, distributor cap, and rotor.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential. The seller notes a leak emanating from the transmission.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Texas and California.
