This 2001 BMW M Coupe is finished in Imola Red over a retrofitted Extended Walnut interior and is powered by a 3.2-liter S54 inline-six mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes an electric sunroof, staggered-width 17″ Style 40 wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, heated front seats, Coco mats, and a BMW Business CD stereo paired with aftermarket speakers, amplifiers, and a subwoofer. Service is said to have included new rear subframe mounts, rear bushings, rod bearings, and engine mounts along with VANOS updates and the installation of a Supersprint exhaust and X-pipe. This M Coupe has 36k miles and is offered with service records, build process photographs, an accident-free Carfax report and a clean California title.
The car is finished in Imola Red (405) and equipped with a rear wiper and fog light, fender vents, an electric sunroof, and quad exhaust tips. The hood was reportedly repainted when clear paint-protection film was removed. Factory M side grilles as well as Z3 side grilles are said to be included in the sale.

The vehicle is said to have received rear subframe updates and replacement trailing arm bushings, sway bar bushings and links, and differential cover bushings.
The cabin features power-adjustable heated seats upholstered in Extended Walnut which extends to the dashboard, center console and door panels. The interior components were sourced from a contemporary Z3 coupe and replaced the car’s factory black interior. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, a luggage compartment net, a LeatherZ armrest, and CocoMat floor mats with walnut dots. The BMW Business CD stereo and Harman Kardon sound system uses JL speakers, a four-channel JL main amplifier, and a subwoofer driven by a separate Kenwood amplifier.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel features an Extended Walnut lower insert and frames a 170-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The odometer indicates 36k miles, approximately 500 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six is equipped with individual throttle bodies and was factory rated at 315 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque. Senders have been installed for the VDO oil pressure and water temperature gauges on the center stack. A Besian Systems VANOS kit and Randy Forbes coated rod bearings were reportedly installed, and an oil change was performed in July 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential said to have been changed to a 3.46:1 ratio. Modifications include a Supersprint exhaust with an X-pipe. The most recent California smog check was reportedly performed in July 2020.
