BaT Auction: 41k-Mile 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera S Coupe

This 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera S coupe is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Carrera Red Natural leather and is powered by a 3.8-liter flat-six paired with a seven-speed PDK transaxle. Equipment includes 19″ ZITO wheels, H&R springs, dynamic xenon headlights, heated and power-adjustable front adaptive sport seats, navigation, a Fabspeed air intake and exhaust system, and the Bose High-End Sound Package. The car was first registered in California and later moved to Texas, where it was acquired by the seller in 2016. This Carrera S has 41k miles and is now offered with a set of factory wheels and tires, removed factory parts, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.

The 997 was refreshed for the 2009 model year with revised front and rear fascias, new headlight and taillight designs, and LED auxiliary lighting. This example is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic (X1) and features dynamic xenon headlights, a power sunroof, window tint, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets. The seller states that the front-left fender was refinished, and clear film is applied to the front fascia. Scrapes are noted on the lower front valance, and a dent is present on the left rear wheel arch.

Aftermarket 19″ ZITO wheels are wrapped in Hankook Ventus V12 evo2 tires sized 245/35 front and 305/30 rear. The car is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management, Porsche Stability Management, and aftermarket H&R springs. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with cross-drilled rotors and red calipers all around. The factory wheels with new tires are included in the sale, along with the factory springs.

The cabin features Carrera Red Natural leather on the seats and door panels and carpets along with a contrasting black dashboard and carpets. Equipment includes heated adaptive front sport seats, an Alcantara headliner, Porsche Communication Management with navigation, satellite radio, a Bluetooth phone interface, metal door sill guards, and the Bose High-End Sound Package.

The Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel frames an 8k-rpm tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates just under 41k miles, approximately 13k of which were added by the seller. The factory steering wheel is included in the sale.

The 3.8-liter flat-six in the 997.2 Carrera S was rated at 385 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque when new. A Fabspeed air intake and exhaust system have been added, and the factory components are included in the sale. The most recent service in January 2020 consisted of replacing the spark plugs, cabin and engine air filters, and performing an oil change.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed PDK transaxle. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the image gallery.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California and Texas.
