BaT Auction: 1975 Ford Bronco Ranger

This 1975 Ford Bronco was acquired by the seller two years ago, reportedly following approximately 20 years in storage. The truck is finished in metallic green over matching vinyl upholstery with houndstooth cloth inserts, and power is from a 302ci V8 paired with a C4 three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Factory equipment includes the Ranger package, a limited-slip differential, power steering and brakes, skid plates, and an auxiliary fuel tank. Service in August 2019 consisted of brake work as well as replacement of the shocks, tires, radiator, battery, belts, and filters. This Bronco is offered with a Deluxe Marti Report, a receipt from the 2019 work, and a clean Missouri title in the seller’s name.

The truck came finished in Medium Green Glow from the factory, and features a white removable hardtop as well as matching lower decals with red pinstriping. Equipment includes chrome front and rear bumpers, a bumper-mounted tow ball, and dual fuel fillers.

White 15″ steel wheels wear chrome covers and BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires. A matching spare is mounted to the swing-out carrier at the rear. Service performed in 2019 included replacement of the shocks as well as the brake drums, shoes, and springs.

The cabin features metallic green vinyl seat upholstery with houndstooth cloth inserts along with matching door panels, wood-look trim, green carpets, a column shifter for the transmission, and a floor shifter for the transfer case.

The body-colored dashboard features Ranger badging as well as controls for the dual fuel tanks, heater, lighting, and wipers. A two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 100-mph speedometer with inset secondary gauges and a five-digit odometer showing 35k miles.

The 302ci V8 was serviced in August 2019 with a replacement radiator, battery, fan belts, and fuel and air filters. The truck features power-assisted steering and brakes.

A three-speed C4 automatic transmission routes power to the rear or all four wheels through a two-speed transfer case. The rear end came with a limited-slip differential and 3.50:1 gears from the factory, and the truck is equipped with an auxiliary fuel tank and skid plates.

The Deluxe Marti Report shows initial delivery to Carlsbad Motor Co. in New Mexico, factory equipment, and a production date of November 12, 1974.
