BaT Auction: 1988 Fiat Uno Turbo i.e. at No Reserve

This 1988 Fiat Uno Turbo i.e. is a left-hand-drive example that was imported to the US from Portugal in 2020 by the selling dealer. The car is finished in red over grey patterned upholstery and powered by a turbocharged 1.4-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Features include a fiberglass rear hatch with an integrated spoiler, a retractable sunroof, 13″ Speedline alloy wheels, red carpets and seatbelts, and a Sony CD stereo. The car reportedly underwent a mechanical refresh before being brought to the US, while the fluids, filters, and battery were replaced by the selling dealer. This Uno Turbo is now offered at no reserve with spare parts, a Portuguese registration certificate, and a clean Texas title.

The car is finished in red with black bodyside graphics and a body-color grille and side mirrors. Additional features include a fiberglass rear hatch with an integrated spoiler, a sunroof, rocker panel trim, wheel arch flares, foglights, a rear wiper, and a polished exhaust finisher.

A set of 13″ Speedline alloy wheels with Abarth center caps are wrapped in 185/60 Toyo Proxes CF2 tires showing 2014 production codes. The car is equipped with four-wheel disc brakes and front and rear strut tower braces.

The interior features seats upholstered in grey patterned cloth along with matching door panel inserts, a black dashboard and center console, and red carpets and seat belts. Amenities include a Sony CD stereo, a heater, and power windows.

A four-spoke steering wheel frames a 240-km/h speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer. The six-digit mechanical odometer indicates 202k kilometers (~125k miles), approximately 500 of which were added by the selling dealer.

The turbocharged 1.4-liter inline-four was factory rated at 105 horsepower. The car reportedly underwent a mechanical refreshment in Portugal, while work performed by the selling dealer included replacing the fluids, filters, and battery. A tune-up is said to have been performed before the vehicle was imported to the US in 2020.

Power is delivered to the front wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle. Additional underside photos are available in the gallery below.

Several spare parts including a grille, turbocharger, instrument cluster, headrests, and an intake manifold are included with the car.
