BaT Auction: 6k-Mile 2002 Dodge Viper GTS ACR

This 2002 Dodge Viper GTS coupe is finished in Graphite Metallic over a black leather interior and is equipped with the ACR Competition Package, which included an upgraded suspension, 18″ BBS wheels, five-point harnesses, and low-restriction air cleaners. Power is provided by an 8.0-liter V10 paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and additional equipment includes a Billy Boat cat-back exhaust system, an Alpine CD stereo, air conditioning, anti-lock disc brakes, and BC Racing coilovers. This Viper GTS ACR shows 6k miles and is offered with service manuals, a car cover, two keys, the removed suspension and exhaust components, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.

This example is one of just 16 Viper ACRs that were finished in Graphite Metallic (PDR) and ordered without center stripes for the model year. Exterior features include a vented clamshell hood, a double-bubble roof, and an integrated rear spoiler. Additional exterior equipment includes a racing-style fuel filler cap, power-adjustable side mirrors, and GTS and ACR badging.

ACR-specific 18″ BBS wheels are mounted with 275/35 front and 335/30 rear BFGoodrich g-Force Rival tires showing 2016 date codes. Stopping power is provided by anti-lock disc brakes with black Viper-branded front calipers. The car rides on BC Racing coilovers, and the removed Koni units are included in the sale.

The interior features bolstered bucket seats upholstered in black leather along with a matching dash, center console, door panels, and carpets. The factory-optioned Comfort Group adds an Alpine CD stereo and air conditioning, while additional interior features include ACR-branded five-point harnesses and power windows and door locks.

The three-spoke airbag steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline. Auxiliary gauges showing coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage are located in the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 6k miles, approximately 1k of which were added by the seller.

The 8.0-liter V10 featured low-restriction air cleaners in ACR trim, and factory-rated output was increased to 460 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. The car features a Billy Boat cat-back exhaust system, and the removed exhaust components are included in the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California, Virginia, Ohio, Texas, and Pennsylvania.
