This Factory Five Racing Mk2 Roadster is a Shelby Cobra replica that is said to have been assembled by the seller’s father in 2002 and was acquired by the seller in 2019. The car is finished in Viper Blue with white racing stripes and is powered by a stroked 347ci V8 paired with a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a Holly Sniper EFI system, 17″ Halibrand-style wheels, side pipes, four-wheel disc brakes, a fire suppression system, Schroth four point harnesses, and a driver-side roll hoop. This Mk2 Roadster is offered at no reserve in North Carolina with a Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC that lists it as a 1965 Special Construction Cobra.

The car is finished in Viper Blue with white racing stripes and features a hood scoop, chrome bumpers, side pipes, a driver-side roll hoop, and Cobra 427 fender badges. The seller states that the chassis was powder-coated when the car was built. The filler cap gasket was replaced in 2020.

Halibrand-style 17″ wheels wear knock-off-style center caps and Nitto NT05 tires that measure 235/40 up front and 275/40 out back. Braking is handled by drilled and slotted rotors with Aerospace Components calipers at each corner. The car is equipped with a four-link suspension.

The cockpit features fixed-back bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl along with a matching dash and carpets. Features include four-point Schroth harnesses, a fire suppression system, and a drop-down floorpan section in the driver’s footwell.

The leather wrapped steering wheel frames a reverse-sweep 180-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer. Additional gauges for coolant temperature, voltage, oil pressure, and fuel level are mounted in the center of the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 5k miles, 1,200 of which were added by the seller.

The V8 was fitted with a 347ci stroker kit and features a Holley Sniper EFI kit. Additional equipment includes a racing fuel cell, a K&N air cleaner, and aluminum valve covers.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.

The Montana title lists the car as a 1965 Special Construction Cobra and displays a kit brand.
