BaT Auction: 1965 Chevrolet C10 Custom Pickup

This 1965 Chevrolet C10 Custom is a fleetside pickup that was refurbished under previous ownership and was acquired by the seller in 2020. It is finished in red with white accents over matching two-tone vinyl and is powered by a 230ci inline-six paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes chrome-finished bumpers, 15″ Cragar wheels, a wood slat bed floor, a heater, and an AM radio. This C10 Custom is now offered with a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The truck was refinished in red under previous ownership, at which time the hood was reportedly repaired. Exterior features include white body accents along with polished bodyside moldings, chrome-finished bumpers, a driver-side mirror, and a wood slat bed floor. The seller notes paint and body imperfections, including an area of the left quarter panel.

Chrome-finished 15″ Cragar wheels wear 255/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Braking is provided by drums all around.

The cabin features body-color metal surfaces along with a bench seat upholstered in two-tone red and white vinyl. Equipment includes red carpets, a heater, a Chevrolet-branded AM radio, and a glovebox.

The two-spoke steering wheel features a horn ring and frames a horizontal 100-mph speedometer along with auxiliary gauges and warning lights. The five-digit odometer shows 89k miles, 300 of which were added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.

The 230ci inline-six is equipped with a downdraft carburetor and produced 140 horsepower and 220 lb-ft of torque when new. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission.
