BaT Auction: 46k-Mile 2004 Jaguar XJ8 at No Reserve

This 2004 Jaguar XJ8 is powered by a 4.2-liter V8 paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Topaz over beige leather upholstery. Equipment includes 18 alloy wheels, fog lights, a sunroof, rear parking sensors, heated front and rear seats, automatic climate control, wood trim, navigation, and a CD stereo. The car spent time in New York, Michigan, Ohio, and Rhode Island before being acquired by the selling dealer in November 2021. This XJ8 has 46k miles and is now offered at no reserve by the selling dealer with owner’s manuals, two key fobs, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New Jersey title.

The XJ was redesigned for the 2004 model year, and this example is finished in Topaz (SEC). Exterior equipment includes fog lights, body-colored side mirrors, a sunroof, bright trim, rear parking sensors, and polished dual exhaust outlets.

Factory 18 alloy wheels wear Jaguar center caps and are mounted with 235/50 Pirelli P-Zero Nero A/S tires showing 2016 date codes. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel vented disc brakes, and the car is equipped with traction control.

The cabin is upholstered in Sand leather, while wood veneer trim accents the dashboard, center console, shift knob, and door panels. Equipment includes power-adjustable front seats, heated front and rear seats, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a factory CD stereo.

A wood-trimmed multifunction steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 170-mph speedometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 46k miles.

The 4.2L AJ V8 was factory-rated at 294 horsepower and 303 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in preparation for sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission. Additional underside photos are available in the gallery below.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in New York, Michigan, Ohio, Rhode Island, and New Jersey.
